A modern take to leasing retail space with a classic Boston story
Challenge:
Market a vacant retail space in Beacon Hill of Boston on Charles Street in a unique and creative way. The area is known for having a strong community voice so the design of the signage must be classy yet appeal to the masses and show off the location.
Solution:
Rumphius Marketing designed 12 floor to ceiling window decals that encapsulated arguably one of the best Boston stories of all time – Make Way For Ducklings by Robert McCloskey. The most unique thing about this idea is that Perseid Ventures owns one of the buildings illustrated in the book. The property manager was able to secure the rights to several illustrations in the book which were scanned in at ultimate high resolution and then enlarged, cropped and designed to fit the 12 windows. The community was delighted by the final product and locals and tourists alike stop to enjoy the magnified story, just steps away from the Make Way For Ducklings statues in the Boston Public Gardens. We have even received calls from random passerbys noting how creative the design is. A modern take to leasing retail space from a classic Boston story.
